One God

Start with “one God” as a lesson in not worshipping substitutes: money, status, romance, or fear, because they cannot carry your life.

A substitute god always asks for more, then calls you ungrateful; it never says “enough”, so you stay hungry even when you are winning.

Money is a useful tool, but a cruel master: if it is your god, you trade sleep, health, and kindness for numbers that never feel safe.

Status looks like respect, but it is rented: the crowd can clap today and disappear tomorrow, so you end up performing instead of living.

Romance becomes an idol when one person carries your meaning; then every text feels like a verdict, and love turns into panic and control.

Fear is the darkest idol because it feels practical; it keeps you “safe” by keeping you small, and it calls that wisdom.

One God means you can enjoy good gifts without begging them to save you; you can hold money, love, and praise with open hands, not clenched fists.
