I was visited by a manf rom the Department of Qrious Threads.
He looked at me with a small hint of concern,as if he could read potential, and that he felt mine was not being met.
He said he’d been sending coded messages whilst I slept:messages and frequencies that I had ignored and seemingly buried for years.
He was glad I’d dropped the habitual drinking and smoking, but that I still enjoyed a party.
He was pleased I had started fasting, and was eating better, but was less impressed with my social media addiction.
It seems doom scrolling does not replace cardio, and the constant chatter in my head did not replace taking small meaningful actions to quieten it.
His eyes still carried concern, because he could see how much of my energy went to worry, to the bias of the news, the programming of the masses, and the wolves in suits that we vote for, who often rob us blind and sometimes send us to war.
He said:“Be careful. You try to change the world before you change yourself.
Some days you spend your energy and willon things that you will never touch, whilst the things within your reachoften sit waiting in silence and darkness.”
And he was right.
I had historical threadsholding me back, twisted and interlocked, that I thought were unbreakable, spells that I thought were limiting and eternal.Holding me backas if they were real.
But when I looked, the threads weren’t steel. They were simply made of thoughts.
My thoughts.
Could my awareness of this simply be enough?A shift in perspective? Not war, or struggle, just an understanding.
An understanding thatwhen I see the problemfor what it is,the spell starts to break. The threads unraveland there is movement,at first just in my mind, and then in reality.
More energy,a lighter body,a different frequency,a timeline shift that can be felt in every cell.
And here’s a fact:Most of what we call “normal life”is just repetition.Neuroscience tells us 95% of our thoughtsare the same as yesterday’s.
No wonder the days blur.No wonder we often stay so stuck.
And here’s another:One in four people in this countrystruggle with their mental health.Half of all wealth sits with 1% of the peoples pockets. The NHS is stretched to breaking, while billionaires hide trillions offshore.
And we’re told the problem is flags.Or migrants.Or artificial intelligence.
But the man from the Department was clear:“These are spells.Spells of distraction.Spells of division.Spells designedto keep us blind to the real theft within.”
These spells, they can be broken. Not with magic, but with awareness. With a refusal.A re-threading of reality:a breaking of loops,a bypassing of habits,a choosing of both qriosity and silence, connection and progress, good choices and inner peace.
And the truth he left me with:Well, that my life is changingas it always has, changing into what it was always going to be.
Not because I fought the chaos within my head, but because I got qrious about the threads, the qrious threads of my seemingly impossible mental knot, the qrious threads that I started to name and pull loose.
The Department of Qrious Threads?Well, it’s real.It lives around us.And if you are hearing this, you’re already on its list.
